Sam Gibb

Managing Partner

Resolution Ventures

Sam has extensive experience in traditional finance, having spent a decade in hedge fund, private equity and venture capital. He was previously responsible for Endeavour Ventures, a seed-stage sector agnostic fund that was focused on Southeast Asia. Before that, he was an assistant portfolio manager at Symphony Financial Partners, where he was responsible for Asian equity analysis and allocation. Before joining Symphony, he was responsible for the valuation team at Quvat Management, an Indonesian private equity firm. Before moving to Singapore, Sam was a portfolio manager at Milford Asset Management in New Zealand, responsible for trans-Tasman mandates.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (with a double major in Accounting and Finance with first class honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Sam is also a CFA Charter holder

Veiverne Yuen

Veiverne was previously a cofounder of tryb, a Fintech focused VC in Singapore. Before that, he was a Vice President with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC Pte Ltd). At the GIC, Veiverne was a founding member of the Integrated Strategies Group, a direct investment team focused on large structured deals across a range of sectors including financial services and technology. He also spent time with the GIC’s Private Equity Group where he worked on many private equity, infrastructure and venture capital opportunities across the globe.

Veiverne holds degrees in Aeronautical Engineering (MEng) from the University of Bristol and Applied Finance (MSc) from the Singapore Management University.

Wouter Kneepkens

Investment Committee

Wouter is a partner at Blauwpark Partners, a ‘single-family office for multiple families’ and ran its proprietary Fintech fund for the last four years. He is also a board member at a European financial services firm. He has a background as a founder in tech startups, as well as having worked in private equity, at a EUR1bn activist hedge fund and as an investment banker with UBS Investment Bank and Barclays Capital. Besides his role as a professional investor he has also made numerous angel investments the most successful of which are seed stage investments Coinbase (2,513x) and Instacart. Wouter holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, an LLM in Financial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and MSc’s in Business Administration (Finance & Investment and Control & Financial Management) from RSM Erasmus University.
